It’s been a while since I last posted something I made. That’s because it’s been a while since I last made something. The last project I was working on was a scarf for a co-worker, which I haven’t finished. I was almost done with it, but we had to move, and I haven’t crocheted since then. I did get to finish two other scarves, one of them was the orange and yellow scarf that I mentioned back in December.

The yellow and orange scarf was my first attempt at the shell stitch. It wasn’t as complex as I thought it was, and the only thing I wasn’t too eager about was changing colors. Other than that, I think it was an easy project.
The other one I made was also a first attempt at the v-stitch, another one that looked complicated, but really wasn’t. This one I finished relatively faster than the other, since I was only working on one yarn. I used the same type of novelty yarn that I used on my first project, the fuzzy one.

I had intended to send the scarves to two of my friends, one in Maryland and the other somewhere in the East Bay. I just haven’t gotten to it. I don’t think they’d mind getting a scarf in their mail during summer. What do you think?
