Good news, people! After twenty long months, I now have an interview appointment schedule at the U.S. Embassy… YEAH! I got the call from my mother-law-yesterday, saying she received the appointment letter from the National Visa Center. She was like, “the letter says your interview is scheduled on March 5 at 6:30 am.” I’m like, “OMG! Really? Six thirty… WHAT?!” LOL. Yeah, that’s right, 6:30 am. Here’s more… I have to be there an hour before my interview. Suh-weet.

This is like the moment Felix and I have been waiting for. Am I happy? DUH. Am I scared? Hell, yeah! Everything is at stake here, you know? We’ve spent so much time, effort, and money in this whole petition process. I have to win. My brain is like in panic mode right now. Must stay calm and collected. Must gather MORE documents. Must get that visa. AAAHHH!

Meanwhile, the website is almost done. Felix already installed the CAPTCHA plug-in for the blog, beaded jewerly and scrapbook pages. I have never dealt with spam comments my whole blogging life, and I really don’t want to. So I am hopeful the CAPTCHA plug-in keeps the spammers from doing stupid things. There, there.

Yay, my very first post in my new blog! I have always wanted my own website, and it’s finally happened! It’s been such a long time since I blogged something, thanks to Freewebs for turning ultimately gay on me. I have a lot of explaining to do, however, I do not want to spoil this moment by recalling the events of what took place with my former blog. I will take you to it, one entry at a time. For now, let’s relish my first post in eight months.

At the moment I am working on my About/Contact page. It’s been the same About Me page I have had since 2003, and I was thinking of reformatting it to something like an FAQ layout. So if you have questions you’d like to ask about me or the site, go ahead. I could use some help with the layout, you know?

As you can see, things are still a bit wonky here. I’m trying to hurry up, however, I have other things on my plate. Wife and mother duties, mostly. Pardon me. If you happen to stumble upon a broken link, a messy layout somewhere, or something, let me know, will you? Just the same, tell me what you think about the site in general. Better yet, tell me anything! I would love to hear your thoughts.
